Pilates

I fell in love with Pilates late in the game. For most of my life, working out as an athlete often meant gritting your teeth and gutting it out. Exerting strength was a positive but big muscles in a dress? Definitely not. Pilates was such a paradigm shift for me. What in the world did it mean to “listen and connect” to my body? To move from my core? Why was breathing such a big deal? And how was it possible that the stronger I grew, the less bulky and more flexible my body became? All I knew was that I was enjoying gentle, powerful movements that strengthened me physically, released tension and encouraged an optimistic mindset. I felt so good I had to share this with others! I trained one-on-one with Pilates Master Ivon Dahl through the International Pilates College, received my
certification and have been teaching pilates in my home studio since 2012.

Class Descriptions

  • 60 minute Whole Body: Private instruction with Reformer, Chair, Mat, barre, pilates stick and various props. $60

  • 30 minute Build: Private or duo instruction focused on a specific anatomical part. $30

  • 30 minute Cardio: Private or duo instruction focused on raising your heart rate working with Jump Board, Bosu and Gliders. $30

  • 30 minute Release: Private or duo instruction focused on releasing tension through breathing, extension and mobilization with Reformer, Chair, foam roller and theraband. $30

  • Monthly Membership Package: Schedule four private sessions at the beginning of the month and receive a customized pilates workout for your personal use at home (written or video). These sessions are non-refundable upon cancellation. (price varies)

Cancellation policy: Class sessions canceled 24 hours ahead of scheduled start time will not require payment. Cancellations made less than 24 hours ahead of scheduled start time will require full payment.
