Some things about me…

I’ve known Jesus in different ways through various stages of life since I was 5. I experienced His comforting companionship through childhood years of growing up in foreign countries where my dad worked for World Vision. Jesus shared His joy with me as teenage passions developed for sports, friendships and learning. He provided inspiring college professors to lead me deeper in the field of Interpersonal Communication at Westmont College.

After gifting me with an incredible man to marry, He honed my love for His Word and for people through graduate work in Counseling and Biblical Studies at Denver Seminary.

Then, He rocked my world by sending me boy/girl twins. And two years later, another son.

Life took on meaningful fulfillment as a mom and Jesus used the landscape of marriage and parenting to form my relationship with Him on a whole new level. Challenging, messy yet growth-provoking years of home schooling my kids and learning to love my family well proved His ongoing faithfulness and grace.

Standing on the other side of 50 years of life, Jesus’ love has remained a constant. His arms have carried and empowered me through 25 years of the limitations I meet with a degenerative hearing loss. His presence holds the hole left in my heart from losing my mom to cancer. I see Him still at work in the blossoming dreams of my young adult kids, in the tender fine-tuning of rich relationship with my husband, and in the commitment to doing life authentically with a few close friends.

Recognizing His love and living from the place of being loved by Him is what I’ve discovered life is all about. As a life coach, I work centered upon the unshakeable belief that God wants you to Live Loved. He wants you to know His love beyond a shadow of doubt and experience it in all facets of your life. Within this environment, I am eager to offer you encouragement and practical help in reaching your goals. I have been certified through Light University in Bible Life Coaching and Soul Care. I am also certified in Life Coaching Skills through Flourish Center for Well-Being and am a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors.
